Then I suggest you call Alan. This is the 3rd time we have used Vickers Moving to handle our move. It was a hectic move as my husband was out of town all week and I didn't have time to perfectly pack everything. No worries, the crew brought in wardrobe boxes that made moving the contents of our closets a snap and even disassembled the larger furniture items before wrapping everything and loading it into the truck. When we got to the new place, they asked me where I wanted things and put them in place. They put the furniture back together. They put down mats to keep from tracking dirt into the house. I recently moved into a new office and needed to move my furniture in, 2 large desks and a heavy wooden filing cabinet. Sounds simple, but I needed them moved up a very tiny, narrow stairway in a historic Heights home. From my first phone call to the end of my move, I was very impressed with Vickers Moving. They showed up early the morning of my move, and were very friendly and patient. When it came time to move my largest desk in, it wouldn't fit up the stairs so the owner ended up coming out himself to assess the situation. They had to come back later that night with more people, but 2 hours, many ropes and 8 movers later my desk was literally hoisted vertically through the stairwell. It was a sight to behold! All in all, I had a great experience and would not hesitate to recommend Vickers. If you are looking for a professional company with a higher end moving experience, not one scratch on my walls or furniture, this is the one.
